The Sword and Laser discussion

I started the book last night and having got the end of the first chapter have been moved to post here.

The richness and depth of the writing have already drawn me into the world, the characters and the story.

The chapter itself is written from a very interesting perspective and it is nice to see an author challenging themselves and the reader with this kind of approach.

I particularly appreciate the way the main character is referred to only as "boy".

I am looking forward to seeing how the book progresses. I am already thinking about reading the rest of the series, if it maintains this standard.

This is my 5th book since joining the group and is my favourite so far. Good pick V :-)

Thanks for posting this John this makes me really really want to read this series, Im still reading leviathans wake and am also reading a vf book pick but I definitley want to read this book I cant wait now after reading this!
