Family: Silver is an only child and was brought up in England, she lives with her parents. Her mother is a florist and opened her own shop after finding out her daughter could control the behavior of plants, flowers and other substances that grown from the earth. Her father owns a bookstore and is forever reading more about her element and what they can do to improve/control her abilities.
History: She grew up in a private school and when she was seven years old she tried to hide from her head mistress after knocking over and breaking some priceless vases on an accident in the schools main reception area. She then tried to hide in the green house, after Silver started to cry the leaves and plants suddenly grew taller and concealed her hiding spot so she wasn't found until she came back inside the next day. She has never told her friends about her ability and only her parents knew until they found out about the Elemental Masquerade.
Personality: Silver was never anyone loud though she isn't particularly shy either. She has always managed to make friends and likes to go off on adventures some place, she loves flowers and plants especially now she found out about her 'special powers'. She is intelligent and always had a witty comment in an argument, never diving in head first to something she hasn't sussed out.

Family: her family is huge. She is from a very small town outside of florence. Her family is trying to grow trees in their town and introduce the people to new herbs and plants because they are all earths.
History: Zola loves to be in touch with the land and connect to it's feelings. This is her special skill. It's more advanced than others and sometimes it's over whelming. She's spent her life outside Florence helping her parents rebuild there town into a beautiful green city. She HATES the water element. Her little sister encountered a water man and he thought it fun to try and drown her. She died in the town fountain and the water man was run out of the city. Zola was crushed. She has never forgiven the water element.
Personality: Zola is sweet and kind, always helping others. She is a natural leader and lives to smile. She is very strong willed and would die for something she believed in. She can get snarky if talking about or to a water but other than that she is easy to get along with.

Family: He lives with his pets, a horse and a cat.
History: He lived with his mother, and air, and his father, a fire until he was 6. They died in a fire made by his father in an experiment they were doing. He lived with his uncle, who died exactly four weeks after his eighteenth birthday
Personality: Lucas yells a lot. Like, a lot. He is sort of childish, but not all the time. He is very, very strong-willed. Like many other earth elementals, he is stubborn. He is not gullible but loves jokes and pranks. He is sometimes hotheaded, but that prabably comes from his father the fire elemental. He also likes candy. Any sort of sweets, really. That's his weakness. Oh, and playing practical jokes. He always loves playing the on people, no matter what. He always deals with whatever punishments he is given. He likes giving people presents, too, so his mischief and kind sides balance out to make him a pretty fun person. He has an odd patience thing. Like, sometimes he'll be really strict and annoyable, and sometimes he'll be really easygoing. It all depends.

Family: His twin sister, Jarae, his older brother and his young wife. Both parents are gone
History: Jedediah and Jarae has had an interesting life. Their mother fell ill when they was five and she passed away when they were seven. Their dad, well nobody really knows what happened to him after his wive's death. He just disappeared. Some say he took his life, others say he ran away, but he was gone. Whatever happened, the twins wwere now orphaned. It kills Jedediah not knowing what happened to his father. They lived with their much older brother on a farm. As young as ten, they were both working their butts off to survive on the farm. He doesn't like or dislike the masquerade. The two things he hates the most about this night is, this was the night his father disappeared and two, he doesn't like getting dressed up in this monkey suit.
Personality: Jedediah is a sweet, respectful country boy. He is charming and will put you before he puts himself. If you ask, he'll give you the shirt off of his back. He is shy at time and he gets flustered easily, but he has an easy going way about himself. Don't let this sweet side fool you, if you insult anything important to him, he has a fiery side. It's rare to see that side, though.

Family: Jedediah, her twin, her parents are both deceased. They were both farmers and Earth elementals. They didn't really approve of any other elementals, but Jarae doesn't really care. As long as you're nice, she could care less.

Personality: Jarae is what you would call a country bumpkin. She can be a little awkward, and completely lives up to being an Eath elemental. She will just go babbling on, possibly putting you in an awkward situation. She doesn't ever try to do this, it's mostly from lack of socialization most of her life. Despite all her flaws, Jarae is the sweetest, most naive and innocent girl you'll ever meet. Like her brother, she always puts you before she puts herself. She is very kind and gracious. She can also be as stubborn as a post if she has her mind set on something.

Family: His mother is Serenity who is the female Earth elder. His doesn't know much about his father and he is an only child as far as he knows.
History: Lived with his mother. As she is an elder he lives in town during the year and in the country during the Ball months. He goes to school and nothing very tramatic has happened to his other than he broke his arm when he was nine falling down some stairs on his bike.
Personality: Loves anything fast. Rides motorcycles a lot even though it annoys his mother. He is a little slow on picking up jokes but is friendly enough. Very stubborn and will not listen to others advice about how he should behave.
Other: He is double jointed in his left arm after he broke it.

Family: Fifer is the only elemental in her family. Her parents and siblings are just normal people. She loves them, but can't help feeling out of place when she's around them.
History: Fifer has lived with her parents all of her life, but she prefers living in the Earth house simply because she's too different from her family.
Personality: Fifer is usually pretty nice. She's really shy, and most people don't bother to get to know her. She's not used to attention. When someone does talk to her, she's generally nice. If she feels like someone is trying to pick on her, she's very rude and nasty. She has a very sarcastic sense of humor, and sometimes people think she's trying to be mean when she's really just joking.

Family: Gemmas mother is an Earth elemental, Gemma's dad is a regular human, but fell for Gemmas mother when she repaired his derelict backyard with a snap of her fingers. They were a pair ever since. Gemma has a few aunts and uncles, but gemma really loves her stubborn old grandmother.
History: Gemma has lived in a small normal house all her life. With normal parents (or at least her mother tried to be but when someone fell through solid ground, well it wasnt a freak of nature was it) Gemma fully practiced her earth bending. She had her own giant greenhouse full of rocks and trees and flowers, where her basement was supposed to be. She begged her mother to let her make it, and when she complied, Gemma went to work, it took her 3 years to perfect it. Her grandmother was so proud. But she said Gemma needed a real world job. She was adamant, so Gemma did, she got a job in a florist, yet here she is today. She just had to continue her earth bending.
Personality: Gemma is quite stubborn, she needs things to be good or else she cant leave them alone, she is nice otherwise, but dont bug her. Or she will make flowers grow out of your nose.n

He killed his little sister and his mom and also his uncle. He intends to kill the rest of his family so that there is no chance that the business could be taken on by anyone else. The Mankato's are worldwide arms dealers. They sell to military's and special clients. Their name is known and they are very powerful. He has only come to the ball to make sure that his twin sister won't over power him. Trenton and Zola used to be inseperablr but he changed and he now resents her. His only intent at this school is to kill her.
Personality: He is mentally insane. He used to be creative and loving but now is a murderer and strives for power over everyone. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

With a posture somewhat like a child and a height of only 5'4'', the first thing that strikes you about Demeter is how youthful she looks. She has wavy hair, the colour of straw, a little longer than shoulder-length, often tied up to keep it out of the way but in a fancy hairstyle when she wants to go for a special occasion. Her eyes are stormy grey most of the time, an unnerving dark grey, but sometimes they appear misty and lighter at times. She moves gracefully and has freckles all over her face and limbs, but it's difficult to see them most of the time because of her tan that has a colour similar to her freckles.

Demeter was like a second mother to her sisters and also only went to school for a while as her family couldn't afford to send them to the more expensive secondary school. Then Demeter started to make a living for herself selling art, the one thing she had always wanted to do. Then her parents died and Demeter started multi-tasking with selling her art and taking care of her sisters at the same time.
Personality: Demeter is very much a hard worker, modest and humble of all her sisters. She hopes only to help her family as they are very poor, and she is sure that she can do better than her parents did. She doesn't even hope to fall in love. She'd give her sisters the world if it would benefit them. Demeter can be overprotective and stubborn, to the point of rudeness and arrogance. Loyal though, and honest to no end. Family: Her parents were expecting a sky or water elemental, so they named her accordingly. However, it turned out that though the sky and water appealed to her, it was her pull towards nature that made her an earth elemental. Her parents blamed her for choosing her element, but she did no such thing. Her parents has since disowned her since they were both water and sky elementals.
History: Being the only elemntal in a long time not aligning with her family tree, Skylark was always an out cast of society. She loved the sky and the sea and knew everything about them
