Trinity Vinton I really hope to publish (what will now be book 3) in September and perhaps the next one not too long afterward.
Trinity Vinton I think Sky would actually be the most fun. I mean, playing with the stars? Sounds wonderful to me. It's also probably the one that comes with the most responsibility though. Rarer power = more responsibility and more consequences.
Trinity Vinton Lots. Lots and lots and lots. I'm sure I will find inspiration to write something different sometime, but for now, all I want to do is contribute to The Legends of Elanimar until it is MASSIVE.
Trinity Vinton My favorite thing about my book is probably my characters and their personalities. They're very much like family, all of them.
Trinity Vinton Hopefully in September of this year.
Trinity Vinton For "Quest of a Thousand Questions?" I did that one with soft pastel. It took me about 3 days to finish it in full.
Trinity Vinton After a lot of thought, I personally think I'm most like Killian. When I started out writing, I thought it was Finna. I possess that desperate need to help and fix other people's brokenness, and whenever I see someone get hurt, I get sympathy pains and it seems I'm always the one on scene with a bandaid or other. But I'm definitely fiercer in nature than Finna. 😂😅 I have no qualms about protecting the people I love. I'm Killian. I love nature, my siblings are everything to me and no one will get to them without going through me first, I seek to encourage others, even from my own emptiness at times, and then find myself needing to take a break so I can truly give back without hollowing myself out entirely. I lose faith at times in the road and find myself needing the encouragement of others to hold me up so I can see again. I'm like him: I keep my feelings inside until I can't hold them in any longer, I am at home in the trees, I love swords and their history, I can feel resentment towards another when I don't understand the circumstances, but I can never hold a grudge for long and I always forgive and try to see the best in people, even if they let me down time and again.
Trinity Vinton Yes. Not wittingly, but after examining my characters from a distance as if they weren't my own, I saw the people I knew in them. I think Ethrund and Ethelmaer and Thalior are all my Dad in character: strong, willing to sacrifice everything for family and what they understand to be their duty. I found Killian is like me in a lot of ways, too. And I think Torin is like my older brother, shrewd and observing, but altogether a really fun person to be around. :) I'd say Ivor and Folkvar are both like my Grandpa, however different they may be in character, he's both of them at times. Mostly like Folkvar though, he's hilarious. XD
Trinity Vinton Regardless of how dangerous it was to live in those times, I think I would unquestionably go back to the Middle Ages. Around the years 1200-1400 perhaps. I'd probably bring my sword along too, just in case. ;)
Trinity Vinton Hands down, I would be some kind of praying mantis. 😂 I would be an orchid mantis. :)

Trinity Vinton Everything around me. Nature. Beauty. The Present. The Past. People. Outlooks. Lives. Stories. Friends. Family. Creatures. Things unseen by the human eye. Phenomena. Being. Living. Hearing. Seeing. I draw inspiration from all of these. I'm what some folks would call the very likeness of G.K. Chesterton's "Romantic in the Rain" --the sort of person who finds joy and beauty in a mud puddle. I can't say as I take much joy in the bitter cold of the outdoors in stark wintertime, unless I take precaution to steel my mind against the wind's bitter, biting teeth and think rather of the glittering and ephemeral beauty of snow. I have found that the warmer months provide for a better stock of inspiration for the imagination, as they are much more colorful. But yes, it is entirely the things that God, the Author of the authors, has created, from which I draw my inspiration.
Trinity Vinton Thank you for asking! When I get that bad bout of writer's block (as often I do), I usually decide to take a short break away from my writing and go do something inspirational, like taking a walk in the woods, in the park, or just sitting real quiet-like and listening to the birds sing in the trees. Playing the piano and singing helps a lot in that respect, as music can stimulate the brain. Especially playing some rousing, action-themed song helps to move me to picture some lively scene I've been working on and to progress on it. Taking a break from my work and reading someone else's work, such as that belonging to a favorite author, can also help in that respect.
