I haven't thought about that lately. It's been a long time since I had a visit with Ava and Nate, but I can't say for sure that I won't expand their story in the future. Thank you so much for reading.

That's a great compliment and question. These stories just develope in my head over time. And I do like to try new things, so maybe that's it. Thank you so much❤️

Yes, it should be available Jan. 17 on audible. YAY!!!

Hi, Thank you so much. I literally just sit down and write. Ha! I wish I had something really profound to say. I guess think about the story, write a little synopsis and then go for it. About halfway through I start jotting down notes and outlining for consistency. But otherwise, it's pretty straight forward.
Thank you so much for the question and for reading.

Not that I know of, but I hope someday soon. :)

Yes, I'm thinking about writing a continuation of this book but just need to find the time. :)))

Thank you so much!! I always think about ASH and think about writing her story and maybe I will. I'll have to think about what kind of relationship drama she might experience. Thank you so much for reading and I'm so glad we got to meet in Austin. I hope your day is great!! :))))))
Renee Carlino
HI, did you see it? It's out now!!! :))))))) xo, Renee

Hi Cookie,
I would love to continue their story, it would be so much fun. Maybe I will. Thank you so much for reading and loving Matt and Grace with me.
Have a great day!! xoxo, Renee

Hi, thanks for the question. I actually read missed connections for fun and found a plea from a man to a woman that inspired me to write this story, so that got the ball rolling. Hope that answers your question.

Ahh, yes, Jeff Buckley, I'm so glad you found him. I actually have a very simple answer to your question. I started Matt and Grace at thirty-six because it was the age I was at when I wrote the book. It made getting inside the character's minds much easier. So it was automatically fifteen years from the end of college. Truly, no other reason than that. Thank you so much for reading and being a part of this journey with me. xoxo, Renee

I always think about Matt and Grace, probably more than any other characters so maybe someday I will continue their story. Thank you so much for reading, I'm so glad you enjoyed Before We Were Strangers. xo

Ash comes from the quote where Grace got the tattoo idea for Matt. It's from Leonard Cohen and it says, “Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash.”

I would love to continue Matt and Grace's story. You've got me thinking now. Thank you for your note. I've written two books since BWWS so I love getting back to these characters and thinking about where the story could go.

Yes and Yes! Both are completed and with my editor. Thank you so much for your interest. Swear is scheduled to come out in May and Wish is slated for December 2016'

Yes Theresa!! You are the first person to get it. And the woman who is talking to Grace is Martha. I was waiting and hoping someone would make the connection. I love throwing little things like that in my books. Thank you for finding it, for your kind message and for your continued readership! ❤️

Thank you for the question. Yes, I always think about my travels to Europe and setting a story there. There is small section in the book I just finished that takes place in Paris. I always think about different endings for my books. I think it's satisfying to know there are people as lucky as Matt and Grace, even though for fifteen years I would have described them as anything but lucky. I think it's hopeful. That said, I'll always try to give my characters the ending I feel is right, good or bad.
Renee Carlino
It has been a prominent thought in my mind. It would be fun to go back to these two but I would have to give Ash her own story. I definitely thinking about it.
This question contains spoilers...
(view spoiler)[Matt and Grace's story just gutted me sideways, upside down and inside out. Now that I know what Grace went through with Ash, Matt had no business getting mad at her about that. The reverse should have been the case, she is the one who should be mad. If I wereGrace, I will make sure he grovelled for a long time before I forgive him. He is the Elisabethan in this case. He owns what that woman did, directly or indirect? (hide spoiler)]
Renee Carlino
A lot of readers feel like Grace could have done more so I guess it's just how you look at it. I could look at it both ways. There were a lot of mistakes made by a lot of people. Maybe the character who is the most good is actually Dan or even Ash.
