Hi Renee, You were a new discovery for me this year & I've really enjoyed the books I've read & looking forward to reading the rest of your catalogue. I'm always interested in your method to writing. Do you just sit down & write, or do you have some type of formula or format that you generally follow?

Renee Carlino Hi, Thank you so much. I literally just sit down and write. Ha! I wish I had something really profound to say. I guess think about the story, write a little synopsis and then go for it. About halfway through I start jotting down notes and outlining for consistency. But otherwise, it's pretty straight forward.

Have you ever considered setting the action of your book somewhere in Europe? London, Paris, Rome. This would be such a lovely thing to do. Also, I was wondering - do you always go for happy endings? Life isn't always so optimistic and "Before We Were Stragers" main characters could be less lucky in real life :(
