Since early on, Prateek was fascinated with aeronautics. While studying in India, he crafted a physical 13 foot model of GSLV for an exhibition. From then on, he began following up on all the aeronautical events across the globe from NASA, ISRO, JAXA etc. He fullfilled his aim to be involved in the space exploration program, managing to secure his place in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in early 2006, before a chain of events led him to the 3D and VFX industry in the United Kingdom.
To this day, he is fascinated with space exploration and keen on following all the space programs such as SpaceX, ISRO, NASA and JAXA.
The recent launch of Chandrayaan 2, as well as orbital studies of lunar topography, mineralogy, elemental abundance, the lunar exosphere, and signatures of hydroxyl and water ice, has sparked his interest once again.
This animation is mainly created to motivate the scientists who worked on the Chandrayaan 2, and the success of the Lunar orbiter despite the loss of the lander carrying the rover for the moon surface exploration. This is not only to motivate the exceptional minds in ISRO and JAXA but also the explorers around the globe who have a vision to explore even beyond the earth’s surface.
This work is not official or endorsed by any organisation. The rocket was modelled to resemble the real GSLV MARK3 however it is not an official accurate replica nor is it meant to be. The rocket Chandrayaan 3 is a concept art and is by no means an official or accurate depiction of Chandrayaan 3 in 2024. Any resemblance to the next GSLV MARK3 is purely coincidental.

Chandrayaan lunar exploration mission
The primary objectives of the Chandrayaan-2 lander were to demonstrate the ability to soft-land on the lunar surface and operate a robotic rover on the surface. Scientific goals include orbital studies of lunar topography, mineralogy, elemental abundance, the lunar exosphere, and signatures of hydroxyl and water ice. The orbiter will map the lunar surface and help to prepare 3D maps of it. The onboard radar will also map the surface while studying the water ice in the south polar region and thickness of the lunar regolith on the surface. Cite

A whale in the sky!
Ocean Tears
Have you spotted it? A shadow looming over Manchester. A whale in the sky! It flies through the air, slaloming between buildings and disappearing as swiftly as it appeared. A friendly reminder that something is afoot.
Even filled with good intentions, we have been destroying countless of our fauna’s habitats, forcing animals out of their home. The whale is a reminder that in the near future they may have nowhere to go. It’s a terrifying thought and we want to raise awareness. Our friendly whale roams the world in search of a new home but wouldn’t be perfect if it could simply go back to its rightful one?
With the help of this concept, I want to spread awareness about how much pain we are causing to the animals. These animals that can’t express themselves as we do.
I want to use my skills to share this with the world and to inspire other artists to do the same. I would like every one to share and spread the word.

What is your main source of inspiration for this artwork?
My main interest is character design, and I just want to be part of it all
Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?
People in Russia do not plan for 10 years ahead, but if you ask. Purely hypothetically, it will be a big office somewhere in California with a blackjack, and you know. Or it could be a small company with cookies and almost family relations somewhere in Europe, maybe so. But the only thing I know for sure is that it will definitely be a character’s design in any form.
Tell us about yourself?
I am character designer. Have incomplete higher education. Last 6 years work on full-time in the indie office in St.-Petersburg. We have a bunch of unfinished projects, and one is released, on mobeile(iOS and Android). At the moment we are working on a new epochal idea that will conquer the world. In addition, I try to find time for self-improvement in art and, if possible, share its results. Like bicycles.

I’m a graphic design graduate that doesn’t really enjoy graphic design xD. I spent most of my time growing up on drawing and playing games. After graduating, I worked at UbiSoft Abu Dhabi as a junior character artist, then came back to Jeddah to continue as a freelancer. It was a little difficult to improve as an artist as our Arab concept art and character design community wasn’t very strong, so we had to depend on our personal resources to learn. So what I’m working on now is activating this community and spreading the knowledge to empower our aspiring artists.
