Ruth Clare I think my answer to this may evolve as I write more books, but one of the things I am really enjoying experimenting with is to see if I can write in …moreI think my answer to this may evolve as I write more books, but one of the things I am really enjoying experimenting with is to see if I can write in a way that really allows people to become immersed in my (in the case of my memoir) or my character's (in the case of my fiction) reality, so they forget they are even reading a book. I have always wanted the superpower of being able to step inside another person's skin, to feel what they are feeling, see what they are seeing and to hear what they are thinking. Writing feels like a way of playing with that superpower.(less)
