Hide & Seek

Do you seek out your hidden Christmas presents before the holiday?  If so, do you shake the present or peel back the wrapping paper and take a look inside?

E.J-  I prefer the mystery and suspense of waiting.  I never peek! ;)

Brimstone embers in her hair
The evil temptress beckons

A Very Gorey Christmas

We have a family tradition of reading stories aloud by candlelight. This often happens huddled by the fire with a glass of wine or spirits during the chill winter months.  Most of the year our storytelling consists of our own tales or classic ghost stories however as the Christmas holiday approaches we always reach for Edward Gorey.

Bridge the Roads by Franka De Mille

My wonderfully talented friend Franka's first album Bridge the Roads is now available! Please visit her beautiful website where you can learn more about the journey she has been on to bring this album to our ears.  You can also listen to samples of her music on the site and there are links for ordering the album.

I invite you all to listen to what I believe is one of the best Goth Folk musical releases of 2009 Bridge the Roads by Franka De Mille .

Blood and Mistletoe

I received some strange looks while hanging mistletoe today.  I'm not the only person who hangs mistletoe above my bedroom window, am I??

Happy Holidays everyone.  May all your holiday wishes and dreams come true.
