All Pulped Out

I recently participated in the OWOH 2010 contests and today I received the most wonderful gifts from mixed media artist Nancy Donaldson of All Pulped Out.  Can you believe how unbelievably ME these photos are?  Omg, I love them!

Be sure to check out Nancy's blog, The Evolution of Nancy, her Flickr, and her Etsy store to see more of her fantabulously amazing art!  Thank you so much Nancy for the wonderful gifts!

Blackouts and Bookmarks

Sorry I've been away from my blog for a few days.  We had an incredible storm here in the North East last Thursday, with screaming winds up to 90mph and a deluge of rain and sleet, resulting in widespread blackouts (power, internet.....you name it and it was out!).  Power returned last night and internet was restored this morning so I'm happy to be blogging again!

Today I also was delighted to receive my first box of Shadows of Myth and Legend bookmarks.  I'm getting incredibly excited for the...

Rustic Goth

I received some fabulous art prints and bookmarks in the mail yesterday from Rustic Goth's Etsy store.  I am extremely impressed with the print quality.  The dyes used are amazingly vivid.  I will definitely be buying more art from Rustic Goth in the future!

If you would like to check out more of her artwork Charlene Murray Zatloukal, the artist behind Rustic Goth, has a blog here.  Rustic Goth is also a member of  Etsy's Dark Side Street Team.

Nightlife

I just finished reading Nightlife by Rob Thurman.  Nightlife is a dark, gritty, action-packed Urban Fantasy read.  Cal and Nik Leandros have a strong familial bond that makes their characters both fierce and endearing.  There are a few parallels with the television show Supernatural however these brothers are running from the paranormal creatures in the dark rather than seeking them out.

Timeless Romantic Fashions

With Valentine's Day nearly here I thought that I would share another one of my favorite shopping destinations. (Yes, I occasionally browse non-Etsy shops!)  The Peruvian Connection prides itself on providing handcrafted clothing using natural, sustainable fibers by skilled craftswomen of the Andes.
