"Whatever causes night in our souls may leave stars." - Victor Hugo.

From an early age, Rachael K. Hannah fell in love with books, art, and games of imagination. She could often be found with her nose buried in a book, painting "masterpieces" on her favorite easel, or creating short stories of her own.

A teacher and writer, Rachael recently released her debut novel, Painting Sage, into the world last May. The story centers around Sage, a fifteen-year-old girl with bipolar disorder, and the journey she and her mother undertake as they come to terms with Sage's illness, in addition to the natural dynamics and drama faced by a modern family. The novel is not so much centered around a child's descent into madness, but rather a family's shaky asc

Anything is possible if you're willing to put in the time, love, and dedication needed to accomplish your goal. The only one who can hold you back is yourself.

Victor Hugo
“What Is Love? I have met in the streets a very poor young man who was in love. His hat was old, his coat worn, the water passed through his shoes and the stars through his soul”
Victor Hugo , Les Misérables

Victor Hugo
“The power of a glance has been so much abused in love stories, that it has come to be disbelieved in. Few people dare now to say that two beings have fallen in love because they have looked at each other. Yet it is in this way that love begins, and in this way only.”
Victor Hugo, Les Misérables

John Lennon
“I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It's just that the translations have gone wrong.”
John Lennon

Mother Teresa
“The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty -- it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There's a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.”
Mother Teresa, A Simple Path: Mother Teresa

“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved, as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”
Anglican clergyman
