Calling all Fans of the Psalm 23 Mysteries!
Two important announcements.
#1 – In the Paths of Righteousness will be out in less than 2 weeks. I will let you know the moment it is released.
#2 – If you want to see the series continue past this book, please pledge to my Kickstarter to help continue the series and please spread the word to everyone you know! Click here to go to the Kickstarter page. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Kickstarter it’s a place where artists of all types can get help funding their creative projects. You can pledge money in exchange for really awesome rewards (for example, who wants to name a villain in one of the books?) These books truly are a labor of love but for me to be able to really continue this series I need your help now. So, please check it out. Even if you only pledge a dollar, every bit helps and the more activity the project gets the more it attracts. So, thank you everyone!

A Few Changes to the Website
I’ve made a few minor adjustments that make things smoother around here. Now, under the audio/video menu you can find pages for my individual podcasts. Also, from now on, the left hand column on the homepage titled “Debbie Says” will be reserved for the latest podcasts and (coming soon!) videocasts. These are going to start changing out frequently and by the end of July will be changing out almost daily.
Thanks everyone!

Just a Little Teaser…
Since I posted this over on Facebook, I figured I should post it here as well. The first FOUR paragraphs of In the Paths of Righteousness (which is coming out very soon!)
Jeremiah Silverman usually loved Sundays. They were one of his days off and always a welcome respite after spending the Sabbath working at the synagogue. It was always ironic. The Sabbath wasn’t supposed to be about work, but as a rabbi, it was kind of unavoidable. So, while Saturday was the Sabbath, Sunday was usually his day of rest.
Only, not this Sunday. This Sunday was one of the more stressful he’d spent in a while. And for once it wasn’t because he was dealing with a dead body. No, the person causing him such great distress was living and breathing. And no matter how much Jeremiah wished that he could change that, he really couldn’t. Well, he really shouldn’t.
The truth was he’d spent all of ten minutes in the presence of Kyle Preston and he could already tell that it was going to be an incredibly long week. If both of them survived it would be nothing short of a miracle.
Kyle Preston was a travel show host for the Escape! Channel. He specialized in all the crazy, insane things that so many people dreamed about and only insane people actually did. He was exuberant, arrogant, and, most importantly, Cindy’s brother.

Announcing New Podcast – Battlefield Victory
So, I’m starting a new podcast devoted entirely to spiritual warfare (in honor of the book I’m writing on the topic). It will be a weekly podcast. It’s not available yet on iTunes, but should be in a day or two. You can, however, listen to it here if you like.

I Am Officially Releasing a Writing Course!
After months of debating about this, I have finally decided to release a writing course. So, if you or anyone you know is interested in writing, please check it out! You can find the program by clicking here.
The great thing is, anyone who buys the course gets a discount on the Writer’s Conference I’ve also decided to hold in October!
I am very excited about both these things and could definitely use your help in spreading the word. With nearly thirty books published (and more coming every year!) I have learned a lot about both the craft and the business of writing and it’s time to share that with the world.

Clean Diary Day 4
I had a moment yesterday when I sat down in my chair, looked around, saw a ton of empty floor space and actually freaked out. It’s a good thing, though. The more I stare at it the happier I am. Then i did a crazy thing. After a pep talk from my parents who assured me that I was going to win this battle and not all the papers in my office, I opened the closet. Contrary to what I believed there was not an avalanche but it is chaos in there. I didn’t even want to take a picture of that. Also, I was too busy trying to keep the kitty from trying to climb into it because I didn’t want him to be lost forever, or at least until Tuesday which is when I’ll probably be finished at this rate.

Clean Diary Day 3
Some real progress was made yesterday which was a relief. There had been progress on day two it just didn’t look like it as much. Aside from what you see here I still have to clean out the closet (shudder). I’m estimating this job is going to take another two days. Revisions and copyedits are coming back any time now for a couple of different manuscripts and if I’m not done before they show up then I know this will all have been a waste of time. So, the pressure is on!
