Welcome, readers! My name is M. H. Barton. As an author, I dabble mostly in fantasy with the occasional foray into sci-fi and romance. I plan to seek representation for my mainstream debut, a fantasy novel entitled Lost in Camelot. Check out my upcoming works section for further details.

I discovered my love of writing as my wife and I made the long journey of adopting our son. It was a very long three years, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Not only did a creative outlet turn into a true passion, but it also completed our family at long last. Outside of writing, I also find great enjoyment in SEC football (War Eagle!) and playing the trumpet. As such, many of my stories celebrate my love of music and southern culture.
