Riding Irish (Sinners & Saints #1) Blurb
I’m home from the RT Convention in New Orleans and it’s going to be a whirlwind couple of weeks with two releases on the horizon!
Edge of Need is available for pre-order on Amazon right now ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KGC00J8 ). I’ll update Edge of Need’s page here on my website as the buy links start to trickle in tomorrow, which is the official release day. YEY!
The first book of the Sinners & Saints series, Riding Irish, is also one step closer to it’s release day on June 3rd with the official blurb. For everyone wondering what the kick off to the new series is all about, check it out!
Mayhem is a way of life for Avery. The last thing she needs is a complication like Kane. The medal-winning swimmer who comes to her rescue is the ultimate golden boy. Everything this woman from the wrong side of the tracks shouldn’t want and everything she can’t stop thinking about. But emotion—and vulnerability—are liabilities she can’t afford.
Kane can’t understand why he experiences such dark, forbidden and kinky desires when he is around Avery. But her touch sparks a hunger deep inside him, and unleashes an erotic discovery where pain becomes pleasure. Their uninhibited passion reveals Kane’s dominant nature.
As Avery submits to Kane, exploring boundaries and pushing limits, she discovers a life she never expected. The unlikely pair forge a bond so tight, their unyielding trust gives way to a love like no other. But Avery’s brothers—members of Oahu’s most notorious motorcycle club—have other plans. Now Avery is forced to make a decision where her loyalty resides—with her family or with a lover who brings peace to the chaos surrounding her.

Edge of Need Playlist
As usual, music is my companion during my writing. Edge of Need was no exception. Adam and Sutton share a special love for the spotlight and their interests in BDSM. That interest comes through very clearly in their scenes at Second Circle. They feed off the audience’s energy, driving each other to become something more, something magical. Their journey isn’t without trouble and this list of music helped them along the way to find their HEA.
Lose Yourself ~ Eminem
My, My, My ~ Rob Thomas
Your Guardian Angel ~ The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Afterlife ~ Nemesea
The Edge Of Glory ~ Lady Gaga
Love The Way You Lie ~ Eminem featuring Rihanna
So Easy ~ Phillip Phillips
A New Way to Bleed ~ Evanescence
Satisfied ~ Jewel
Halo ~ Beyonce
There is a key scene in the book that takes place in The Fox Theater in Atlanta where Adam shows Sutton a different side of himself. A softer side of his personality that Sutton doesn’t expect by dancing a waltz with her right there on the stage. I played Your Guardian Angel by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus over and over while writing that scene.

Edge of Need Snippet (Adult Content Warning)
And the countdown is on! Thought I would toss up a teaser today for Body Masters 3: Edge of Need which releases this Wednesday. Tomorrow I’ll be sharing the playlist I listened to quite a bit while writing the book. As usual, adult content AHOY!
“Your Dom doesn’t mind you visiting another club while you’re living here?”
“One heck of an assumption you’re making.” Sutton sniffed as her lips pressed together. “Maybe I’m here looking for a sub to play with.”
The corner of Adam’s mouth lifted in a sly half smile. He pushed his glass away before lifting a finger to her neck. A chill shot down her side as he stroked condensation from his glass down the column of her throat. If her body grew any hotter, the water would steam.
He shifted closer, pressing his hard body against hers.
When she shivered, his cupped his hand into a fist to grab a handful of her hair. The world closed in around her, tightening until they were the only two people in existence. He tugged, forcing her head back as he stood. Breath whooshed from her lungs as he pressed his body against her arm. They were so close, she could feel the strong, sure beat of his heart against her arm.
Unlike her rapid pulse, his did not waver.
“Stunning.” The soft rumble of his deep chuckle sounded in her ear as he dipped lower. “You were intrigued by Ward’s scene. You wanted to know what it would feel like to be the one experiencing the slaps of his flogger. Even feel the spark of the electricity from the violet wand as he slowly fucked it into your ass.”
He was right on all counts.
A shiver traveled across her back as his lips skimmed the shell of her ear. Her pussy bloomed with heat and wetness, damping the thin lace panties she’d decided to wear tonight.
“Your body kept reaching for the stage because you wanted to be the one tied up and on your knees at a Dom’s mercy.” She held her breath, waiting to hear more of his seductive voice explaining in such exacting detail. “You are very much a submissive, damhsóir.” The sound of the foreign word caused her to finally release a breath as his hand slowly withdrew, his fingers skimming over a few knobs of her spine. Arousal followed everywhere he touched. “Now, I’m not fond of lies. Why don’t you try your answer again?”
The span of time she’d been away from the lifestyle meant she’d forgotten a Dom’s ability to dig deep and expose so much using so very little. “I don’t have a Dom.”
“That’s more like it.”

Guest Post: Kacey Hammell on Writing the Best When Surrounded by Support
I’m very excited today to welcome Kacey Hammell back here – and this time she’s celebrating her debut release with Ellora’s Cave!
~*~
I’ve been very lucky. I have a small group of family around me who support my writing and believe in me. Their support never wavers and they bolster me up on the toughest days when writing can be difficult.
My Mom brags to anyone who will listen, and my husband encourages me with massages, kind words and sweet whispers of his belief in me. Plus my daughter and her BFFs love the wickedly hot covers, images of sexy men that inspire me, and all vow to read every book I’ve written once they’re of legal age LOL – though to think of them reading what I write at any age is odd!! *g*
Many people around the WWW don’t find a lot of value in forums/sites such as Facebook and there is often times a lot of nastiness that happens online and it can be a terrible place to find support/kind words.
However, I’ve been blessed to have connected with a lot of authors through Facebook and various places, and so many are very supportive and encouraging. Many are also willing to share info that helps their careers, promo opportunities, swag ideas and/or offering to read a blurb/synopsis that is kicking my ass. Readers are also very supportive and when I get receive a letter from a fan of my books, it’s like Christmas morning all over again.
Whether aspiring or a bestselling author, one of the best things a writer needs to do is surround themselves with as many encouraging people as possible. True supporters who will stand beside an author and lend a hand, provide a shoulder to cry on and tell us like it is—even if it hurts to hear.
I hope all authors have found those wonderful people to surround themselves. Writing can be even more fun and at its best when an author knows there’s a legion behind her.

A Romantica® erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave
As she crossed the threshold, a man looking out the window turned.
Daaaaamn. What a fine specimen.
At least six feet tall with a strong jaw, short dark hair and a silver stud earring in his left ear. Her insides quivered. Dark jeans, a white button-down shirt and a black leather jacket made him sexy and masculine. She guessed him to be in his late thirties.
She’d never met Adam in all the years she and Bobby had been friends, and damn if she wasn’t disappointed she never had. He was a gorgeous man. She’d missed out on a lot.
“Hello, Mrs….”
A tad nervous about her reaction to him, she lowered her eyes, then eased the door shut behind her and turned the lock. They needed privacy. Smiling, she slunk into the room. “Why don’t you sit down and get comfortable?”
He frowned, then tilted his head to the side and scanned her body up and down. His baby blues widened when they landed on her red stilettos.
Lark grinned. So the studmuffin wasn’t used to women who dressed like her. Good. Made it all the more fun to entice them.
“I’m sorry, am I in the wrong office?”
“You’re here to see Bobby, correct?” She knew he was, but didn’t want to give the game away.
“Yes I am.”
“Then you’re in the right place.” She drew open the sides of the belt keeping her jacket closed. Working it apart in deliberate slow motion to heighten anticipation, she again instructed, “Have a seat. I don’t bite.” She smirked. “Unless you ask me to.”
He watched her, eyes bulging as she pushed the material off her shoulders and laid it over Bobby’s desk.
Shock and uncertainty flooded his eyes but was quickly replaced with interest and heat as he took in her scantily clad body.
Good. She liked his full attention on her.
“I’m not sure what’s going on here. Are you Bobby’s secretary?” She opened her mouth to speak but he raised a hand and ushered her to hush. “I’ve never seen a secretary look like you.”
She laughed, ignoring his question about her identity, and winked at him as he sat in the chair in front of Bobby’s desk. “Oh this old thing?” She gestured to her red silk crop top, her black lace bra showing through, and her crimson leather skirt, which was so short her panties would surely show if she bent over. “Just something I threw on this morning.” She moved in front of him and leaned her ass on the desk.
He grinned and stared up at her. “What can I do for you?”
“Oh honey.” She retrieved her cell phone. “Ask not what you can do for me.” She pressed the music button and selected her dance playlist. “But what I can do for you.”

Edge of Need Cover & Blurb Reveal
I sent edits back to my editor last night for Edge of Need, the next release of the Body Masters series, so getting a release date is one day closer. I thought I would share the cover art & blurb for this baby. I’d already posted the cover art, but it’s been a while, so let’s all play pretend, mmkay? *g*
Sidelined by a devastating dance injury, Sutton yearns to return to the spotlight. Restless and unfulfilled, she searches for someone who will command her, pleasure her and push her to the limits of her darkest desires. Within seconds of meeting a Dungeon Monitor at Atlanta’s provocative BDSM club Second Circle, she is captivated by the rough edge of dominance he possesses.
Adam lives and breathes the main stage, unleashing his wilder side to deliver extreme and uncompromising demonstrations. But when he finds himself without a submissive, Sutton offers herself to his service. One night under Adam’s sensual command and Sutton knows she’s found a Master who understands the ecstasy she craves.
Their scenes are white-hot and together they discover a fervent need that is not easily sated. Soon they are fighting a love they never expected, surrendering emotionally to fill the aching void in both their hearts. When Sutton is free to return to the dance stage she calls home, Adam knows he’ll have to convince her to accept life as his cherished submissive, collared and kept forever.

New Series!
I turned in Glad You Came, the fourth (and last) book of the Geek Kink series this past weekend. While I’ve toyed around with the idea of spinning off from the series, it probably won’t be for a little while I turn my focus to a new project!
Namely, the contemporary BDSM erotic romance (tentatively titled) series Sinners & Saints and the kick-off book, Riding Irish. The books are set in Hawaii and follow a group of friends who share a few common interests, other than being Irish, of course. *g* These men are enthusiastic about their sex and their motorcycles. For them, its the love of the ride. While there are MCs (motorcycle clubs) in the vein of Sons of Anarchy and the like present in the stories, I don’t classify them as MC books.
Riding Irish will release from Loose Id in early June.
As edits on Edge of Need, the next Body Masters series book, draw to a close, there are some workings going on behind the scenes for that series. Stay tuned and I’ll hopefully be able to share the news soon!!

Silver Phoenix Labs: Who Doesn’t Love Music?
For a special treat today at the Lab, Cate Peace is speaking my language - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I played the crap of this game when it first released. I’m not kidding, I lost HOURS and HOURS to this game. But let Cate tell you all about it…
~*~
As a major music fiend (read: Band geek), I am always more than happy to try video games where music plays a central role, especially when it’s integrated as perfectly as it is in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Number one, I had no idea that ocarinas were real—and then later on I saw a commercial for a guy playing ocarina and decided I had to have one—and number two, the songs are GORGEOUS.
See?
These aren’t generic songs. They’re not just six notes. Of the twelve, half are glorious orchestral movements that are beautiful and moving and I could listen to them all the time (two of them are ringtones on my phone—Sheik’s theme and Song of Storms. That’ll be on the test later ) while the other six are used throughout the game as themes and useful songs.
Recently, I discovered the St. Louis Ocarina Trio and lost an entire day to the joys of listening to Legend of Zelda songs on ocarina.
Keep in mind, this game came out in 1998, and sixteen years later people still love this music.
So what does this lovely ramble have to do with anything? Well, as it happens, my newest 1Night Stand from Decadent Publishing releases on 3/21, and while the musician involved doesn’t play ocarina, he’s a hardcore music lover, and I’m pretty sure he listens to Zelda music in his spare time
To celebrate Complete Me’s release, I’m hosting a giveaway on every blog I’m visiting. The appropriate info will be below the blurb. Here’s what’s up for grabs: a $25 iTunes gift card (so you can go buy Zelda music, of course), a free copy of Complete Me when it releases, and a Complete Me-inspired t-shirt of your choice!
A romance author who needs to love….
Best-selling romance author Claire Ergleston confines her passions to the pages of her books. When she receives a 1Night Stand date ‘to give her something to talk about in interviews,’ can she let herself be swept away?
A rock star who needs to let go….
The past has a chokehold on former rock star Ty Krause. Instead of killer tunes, he kills time writing passable songs for a British boy band and his nights wishing he had the balls to say goodbye. In a last ditch effort, he signs up for 1Night Stand, thinking that a night of no-strings-attached sex will help him break the leash of his past.
From the moment Claire and Ty meet, sparks fly—but can they overcome their pasts or will their potential love story end on a sour note?
About the author:
Catherine Peace has been telling stories for as long as she could remember. Maybe even from the womb; no one knows for sure. Now, she writes delightful romances with enough spice to make Emeril happy when not masquerading as a normal person at the day job.

Dungeon Crawl – 3/12/13
Well, well, we’ve come around to that time of the week again. We’re crawling through the dungeon.
How about something a little different today, from one of my earlier novels – a 2013 EPIC Finalist in Erotica, Ragged Edge? One Dom, two submissives – a veritable feast of m/m/f BDSM loving. Mmmmm…tasty. Dalton is a special brand of Dom, one who doesn’t routinely use rope, chains or other items to bind his submissives to him but boy does he know how to play his submissive’s desires off one another…
~*~
Dalton turned away from Erin, pressing against Cade and took his time to trace his hand from shoulder to hip. His fingers scraped over solid muscle, drawing through the sheen of sweat. Finally, he reached around to fist his hand around Cade’s engorged cock, pumping from root to tip with slow, drawn-out strokes.
He didn’t seem to be in any sort of hurry as his lover strained and fought for control. Quiet moans of utter pleasure saturated the air, but she was too far given over to the men to care if the noise came from her or Cade.
It didn’t matter.
“Look at her. Sitting there in that chair, tied up and watching you. That hunger in her eyes is for you—us. I can tell she’s surprised. She didn’t realize she was going to be this turned-on.” His hand moved to grip the base of Cade’s cock and eyes fluttered closed as he squeezed.
Dalton pressed his lips to Cade’s ear but spoke loud enough for Erin to hear. “She blew faster than I was expecting. And I bet she just came harder than she ever has before. I’m going to enjoy punishing her after we’re done here. She’ll find out how it feels to be bent over and strapped down to my spanking bench while my hand turns that pretty ass of hers red.”
Cade’s body hitched as he let out a low moan.
“I look forward to the day I can have both your asses presented high in the air for me.” Dalton smiled, quietly laughing as he began to rapidly move his hand, pumping Cade’s straining shaft. “You have permission to give me your release, Cade.”
That well-toned body finally yielded to the order it had been given. As he came, he gave a powerful roar that ripped another climax from Erin’s body.
Seconds later, the only sound in the room was Cade fighting for breath.
Erin’s senses returned slowly and she noticed Dalton standing over the shattered man. His chest moved rapidly as his body seemed to be wired tight with tension. He knelt, running a gentle hand over still trembling skin. Cade turned his face up to smile at the man who’d dominated him so expertly. There was so much emotion in that smile. So much feeling and depth.
Love, Erin amended.
Reaching behind him, Dalton pulled out a deep blue blanket and covered Cade’s body. He leaned forward, pressing a tender kiss to sweaty forehead as Cade curled under the fleece and basked in the afterglow. Whispered words Erin couldn’t hear were exchanged between the men and Dalton gave him another kiss, this time directly on the lips.
It was slow and sweet, and made Erin’s insides clench with the affection the men shared. Despite the fact she’d just experienced two of the most powerful orgasms of her life, her body reached for both men.
