It finally arrived!

My proof from CreateSpace came in the mail after weeks of agonising waiting. I was beginning to wonder if the poor thing had made it through our rigorous *ahem* customs officials. But today, after almost one month of waiting, here it is!

I'm not sure if my writing is even comprehendible at the moment. I'm just too dang excited.

I'm told it will take up to 2 weeks to appear on Amazon, but it's already available for sale at CreateSpace.

Okay, so maybe half a minute to midnight is not the best time to write and post a blog, but since I have to get this news out now, you'll just have to bear with me.

I was going to write a long, hilarious and fact-filled post about pricing my ebook, but my eyes are closing on their own so I'll make this short.

Today I dropped my price of Sammi Ever After to $2.99. Why you ask? Blogs, articles and handful of people in the know all have the idea that this is the optimal price for an ebook. This remains to be seen, for now I just have to go with whatever advice I can get and hope for the best.

Time will tell.

Well, all I can say is this self-publishing business is a nail biter. One moment you're on a high when you read a great review then you're lowest of the low when you have a rejected submission on a blog. It's definitely not for the faint hearted.

Enough with the introspection, time to celebrate! I've just had two more fantastic reviews right here on Goodreads and I couldn't be happier. Between here, Amazon and Smashwords, they're finally starting to stack up. One reviewer even went so far to say she flew through the pages and "loved it". I can't lie, I did a little jig when I read that email.

I have a confession to make, I'm actually quite pants at blogging. My enthusiasm usually peaks at my 3rd or 4th post and then I forget about the thing for months before going back to feebly try and come up with something interesting to write about.

But now I actually have some good news to share! Sammi Ever After, my debut novel (gosh, that felt good to write) has it's first 5 star review on Amazon. Woohoo! Quite nicely written too.

So thank you Miss EC, for the lovely words. And yes, I agree with everything you say. Heh.
