I have a confession to make, I'm actually quite pants at blogging. My enthusiasm usually peaks at my 3rd or 4th post and then I forget about the thing for months before going back to feebly try and come up with something interesting to write about.

But now I actually have some good news to share! Sammi Ever After, my debut novel (gosh, that felt good to write) has it's first 5 star review on Amazon. Woohoo! Quite nicely written too.

So thank you Miss EC, for the lovely words. And yes, I agree with everything you say. Heh.

Well, all I can say is this self-publishing business is a nail biter. One moment you're on a high when you read a great review then you're lowest of the low when you have a rejected submission on a blog. It's definitely not for the faint hearted.

Enough with the introspection, time to celebrate! I've just had two more fantastic reviews right here on Goodreads and I couldn't be happier. Between here, Amazon and Smashwords, they're finally starting to stack up. One reviewer even went so far to say she flew through the pages and "loved it". I can't lie, I did a little jig when I read that email.
