I was in an interview with Lindsay Buroker, Joseph R. Lallo, & Jeffrey M. Poole talking about the business side of being a writer. You can learn a lot more about “making it” as an indie author at their website.

Loki by SceithAilm
And after that Loki hid himself in Franang’s waterfall in the guise of a salmon, and there the gods took him. He was bound with the bowels of his son Vali, but his son Narfi was changed to a wolf. Skathi took a poison-snake and fastened it up over Loki’s face, and the poison dropped thereon. Sigyn, Loki’s wife, sat there and held a shell under the poison, but when the shell was full she bore away the poison, and meanwhile the poison dropped on Loki. Then he struggled so hard that the whole earth shook therewith; and now that is called an earthquake.

Sometimes the hero is the wrong guy at the right time. Sometimes the hero is drunk.
I Bring the Fire: A Loki Series … the first is FREE on Zon, iBooks, Nook, Kobo, and Google Play
(The drunkenness doesn’t explain the French Armor … but there is a reason for that!)

Your fun fact of the day: Frigga outwits Odin no less than two times.
Once in the Grimnismol, when she bets Odin Geirrod, his foster son, wouldn’t welcome him into his hall. Then, while Odin travels to Geirrod’s hall, Frigga sends a messenger to tell Geirrod not to trust any strangers. When Odin gets to Geirrod’s kingdom in disguise, he is treated poorly as a result of Frigga’s message. Thus she wins the bet.
The second is when she and Odin are deciding which tribe will when a battle the following morning. Who will win is to be determined by Odin giving the tribe a new name. Frigga favors the Winnili. Odin favors the Vandals, who are visible from his bedside. He claims he’ll give the victory to whoever he sees first when he wakes up (the Vandals).
In the night, Frigga turns his bed around to face the Winnili and advises the Winnili women to tie their hair under their chins to make a sort of beard. When Odin wakes up he asks, “Who are these long beards?” Since he gave the tribe a new name, Lombards (”long beards”), they win the battle.
Anyway. Don’t mess with Frigga.

Got inspired by the Greek Gods family tree that’s been circulating around lately. I realize a few gods are missing, but there’s just so MANY.
The thing about Jotuns is that even though they have males and females, their idea of what makes someone one or the other seems to be different from ours. Male Jotuns give birth several times in the stories, so I like to think female Jotuns are somehow able to impregnate others too. My personal headcanon is Skadi as Ull’s other parent just because they have so many things in common.
