Christopher Parks (1980- ) was born in the Bronx, New York. He is a railroad mechanic and small business owner. He has worked as an actor in hit television shows such as; OZ, Law & Order and ED. He has also starred in the award winning short film Oh Baby. The idea for his debut novel Ticket for Terror derived from an incident in which he was mugged while driving a taxi. He currently lives in New Jersey with his wife, Jessica and their three boys.

Christopher Parks The original seed for my novel Death Raise was planted years ago when I placed seventh (And out of the money I may add) in a Texas Hold’em tournament …moreThe original seed for my novel Death Raise was planted years ago when I placed seventh (And out of the money I may add) in a Texas Hold’em tournament in Harrah’s Atlantic City. I was on the final table of ten scoping out the competition and I began to imagine a scenario where whoever one the first hand would be granted permission to pick any player they wanted and eject them from the game. I later combined this idea with a mild hatred of Reality T.V. and turned it into a real winner take all event. The winner not only gets to choose a player to eject he now must kill them as well. Death Raise is now a 2014 Kindle Book Awards Semi-Finalist!!
