Happy Monday!

I have one more cover reveal for you

I can’t wait any longer to share the cover for A Haunted Homecoming, the first Elvira Monk mystery

I was going to wait until September to show this off, because the story won’t be out until October, but I…just can’t wait that long. Look at this cover! I just…can not even

I will post more about the story and the release date in the next couple of weeks, but I HAD to share this cover

Picture it: me, checking my ranks for Salt and Iron on Amazon, B&N, and Kobo. I stop in my tracks on Kobo.

“Those numbers can’t be right,” I say as shock bolts through me. “There’s no way!”

But the numbers weren’t lying~ Salt and Iron was #5 on the Kobo Teen Paranormal list. FIVE. And the next day it was #4!

It has since fallen in rank but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ever take away the fact that for almost two weeks my YA novella sat only three spots down from Stephenie Meyer’s newest Twilight book. NOTHING.

I cannot express how happy you all made me the first time I saw that And that feeling will stay with me forever. None of my books have ever ranked that high, and you all kept it in the top 30 for another week or so.

Thank you all so much for giving me that gift! I’m working hard to get Billie #2 finished and sent to my publisher, and I’m hoping to do that by the end of the month

Happy Sunday!

I hope you are all enjoying Salt and Iron Can’t wait to hear what you think of Billie and her world!

I mentioned on the podcast that I was creating an office in my downstairs bedroom. Now, before I get to the picture, I have to tell this story: I ordered my first desk in early May, and in mid-May I got an email that it had shipped. A day later I got an email telling me that it had no, in fact, shipped and it was back-ordered and would not receive it until September. September!

I canceled the order and purchased another desk. Now, I loved this desk. It had an antique/bohemian feel and the colors were gorgeous. I could not wait to put it in the room! Well, that one shipped in early June…and they lost it. As in, they had no idea where this desk was. So, that ordered was cancelled and I was refunded the money.

Onto desk three (all ordered from different companies).

I ordered the third desk and swore that if it did not get to me I would go into an actual store to buy it (which I was trying to avoid). On the day it shipped I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. It ended up being delayed a couple of days, but luckily I did receive it! Just a simple wood desk with metal legs. I really like it
