Big things, and I'm up for My Daily Romance's Author of the Year!
SO huge things are happening ... Mostly due to all of you who have read and loved Eversea and Forever, Jack!
First of all, Jack will be speaking Turkish soon... my agent is currently negotiating the fine print with a publisher in Turkey to bring Eversea to the Turkish speaking world :) Jack would love to be speaking Spanish too (we're working on that! He's bought Rosetta Stone and everything). Special thanks to Turkish reader and blogger Tugcenin for believing so much in Jack and Keri Ann!
Secondly, I have been nominated for Author of the Year Award from My Daily Romance! AMAZING! So many wonderful readers nominated me, and now it's the voting round. I'm in a tough competition because my fellow nominees are amazing. Just know, I am thrilled to be considered! You can win a Kindle paperwhite from MDR just for voting. Thirdly, I had an amazing editor (Judy Roth www.judy-roth.com), formatter (Fictional Formats: https://www.facebook.com/FictionalFor...) and cover designer (Adrian Repasch) and I decided, on a whim, to put our team forward for the Digital Book Awards in the running against some of the largest publishing houses. And guess what? Eversea is a finalist in Adult Fiction! I kid you not. I think it gets announced tomorrow or day after (so if you are reading this on Tuesday... you are the FIRST to know!) Anyway - I will be flying to New York in January to attend the Digital Book Awards ceremony. I'm not under any illusions. Just being there will make my year. And seeing as it will be the beginning of said year - I'm pretty flipping happy!
