I was fortunate to bundle my Eversea novella, My Star, My Love in a duet with Kate Roth. The bundled holiday treat was called Mistletoe & Hollywood and goes off sale tomorrow at midnight.

Jack's back! Since my book The Cottage has had its release pushed back to 2015, I decided fans of Jack Eversea deserved a little Christmas cheer.

On November 4th, I will be releasing a novella of Jack And Keri Ann's first Christmas together. The story, called My Star, My Love will be featured in a bundled duet I am releasing with fellow author Kate Roth. She wrote a fun and sexy book earlier this year featuring Evan Weston another Hollywood hottie, so we felt like it would be a lovely mix to put both hero's Christmas stories in the same release.

What an amazing experience to be in New York City at the Digital Book World Conference + Expo. I met some incredible people and heard some amazing people speak about the publishing industry and the challenges and opportunities of the next year.
It was an incredible few days with over 1500 people from the publishing industry all over the world. From CEO's to techies, from entrepreneurs to authors.
I learned paper books are probably NOT going away. I learned there is some amazing technology out there that may finally help the most visual books become even more interactive, beautiful and useful (text yourself the ingredients from a recipe with one swipe (Modern Cuisine at Home), listen to the beautiful music the child is hearing in the book (The Man with the Violin). I learned that there is a LOT more respect for self-published authors than ever. Especially when I got up to receive the award for Adult Fiction eBook Flowable for EVERSEA !
I got to meet the AMAZING ROCKSTAR WHO HANDLES OUR AUTHOR PLATFORM HERE ON GOODREADS (Patrick) and thank him personally for my experience in launching my writing career. I met the awesome Jane Litte from Dear Author and Sarah Wendell from Smart Bitches Trashy Books (and I'm still too nervous to ask her to review my book). I met the founder of Jellybooks, the acquiring editor for Swoon Reads, and for Little Brown YA (Say whaaat?!), the fabulous Sam Missingham who runs game of Thrones events for HarperCollins UK. And frankly, I was mostly in awe and a bit tongue-tied. And the list goes on.
I met and made some fabulous new friends and contacts. And brought home a trophy. Score :)
All in all an incredible experience.

SO huge things are happening ... Mostly due to all of you who have read and loved Eversea and Forever, Jack!
First of all, Jack will be speaking Turkish soon... my agent is currently negotiating the fine print with a publisher in Turkey to bring Eversea to the Turkish speaking world :) Jack would love to be speaking Spanish too (we're working on that! He's bought Rosetta Stone and everything). Special thanks to Turkish reader and blogger Tugcenin for believing so much in Jack and Keri Ann!

Secondly, I have been nominated for Author of the Year Award from My Daily Romance! AMAZING! So many wonderful readers nominated me, and now it's the voting round. Thirdly, I had an amazing editor (Judy Roth www.judy-roth.com), formatter (Fictional Formats: https://www.facebook.com/FictionalFor...) and cover designer (Adrian Repasch) and I decided, on a whim, to put our team forward for the Digital Book Awards in the running against some of the largest publishing houses. And guess what? Eversea is a finalist in Adult Fiction! I kid you not. I think it gets announced tomorrow or day after (so if you are reading this on Tuesday... you are the FIRST to know!) Anyway - I will be flying to New York in January to attend the Digital Book Awards ceremony. I'm not under any illusions. Just being there will make my year. And seeing as it will be the beginning of said year - I'm pretty flipping happy!
