Pajants Event in NYC!
So, have you been following the pajants?
Here's what happened:
The pajants are a magical pair of pajama jeans that not only fit every shape and size (and personality) but also are the perfect thing to wear to ANY occasion. Throughout 2011, YA authors have been sharing the pajants, documenting their time in them (on blogs, facebook, and twitter), signing them, and sending them on their way.
Yes. Just like in Ann Brashares' SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS. Except with YA authors. And real.
I got to wear them third last year. Here is me wearing them to the NYC YA writing festival:
E.Lockhart is waving her hands beside me.
And here is David Levithan pretending to be paparazzi.
Since then we've had over twenty authors wear and sign the pajants.
Oh yes. For more pics go to http://www.facebook.com/pajants.
And the amazing news is that we have having a PAJANTS PARTY this Saturday. December 3rd. 3-5.
Books of Wonder, 18 West 18th Street.
So, come meet all the authors, hear about their pajants adventures, and pick up signed copies of their books!
Authors:
Ann Brashares*, Sisterhood Everlasting (she's going to wear the pajants there!)
Julia Devillers, Trading Faces;
Lauren Myracle, Shine;
Sarah Mlynowski, Ten Things We Did (And Probably Shouldn't Have);
Susane Colasanti, So Much Closer;
Elizabeth Eulberg, Prom & Prejudice;
Courtney Sheinmel, All the Things You Are;
E. Lockhart, The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks;
Tara Altebrando, Dreamland Social Club;
Melissa Walker, Small Town Sinners;

Leslie Margolis, Maggie Brooklyn Mystery;
Adele Griffin, Tighter;
Robin Wasserman, The Cole Awakening Trilogy;

and

Afterward, we will auction off the pajants for Reading is Fundamental. More on the auction soon.
Hope you can make the event!
Hugs & wishes,
Sarah

EBOOK BADNESS!
Hellllllo!
It's a How to Be Bad special! The eBook of the novel I wrote with Lauren Myracle and E. Lockhart is now only $1.99 everywhere! This is only for a short time. How short? Unclear. My editor said it might only be until this Monday. So buy it now before it returns to its regular more than $1.99 price.
Who are Lauren Myracle and E.Lockhart? Well, they are two of my best buddies. They are also superstar novelists. Lauren is the NYT bestselling author of the TTYL series as well as TEN, ELEVEN, TWELVE, THIRTEEN, THIRTEEN PLUS ONE and her latest SHINE. E (or Emily as those in the know call her–you are now in the know) is the author of THE BOYFRIEND LIST series as well as THE DISREPUTABLE HISTORY OF FRANKIE LANDAU-BANKS which won about a million awards.
Here is a goofy video of us on tour.
So. Go download HOW TO BE BAD now before it gets more expensive, 'kay?
Where can you find it?
Amazon
B&N
iTunes
and some of your favorite indies sell eBooks too, so don't forget about them. The eBook is $1.99 everywhere.
That's it for now.

Hello there
Hi again!
So my goal of the summer is to blog more. But what should I blog about? What do you want to know? I was thinking of doing Q&As with some of my favorite authors. Obviously I would ask them lots of embarrassing questions.
Also, if you read, leave a comment and say hi. Because we just opened the comments back up and I want to make sure that it's working.
Other news:
1. Ten Things is for sale at Target! I love Target. I do not have a Target near me, but last week we were in the suburbs and we decided to stop in for a minute. We left three hours and four bags later.
2. Fun How to Be Bad news next week! Stay tuned…
3. Does anyone else watch Hellcats? I'm kind of obsessed.
4. Emily Lockhart interviewed me on her blog!
C'est tout!

Contest!
Hi!
Sorry for the very late notice but we're running a contest on Facebook! It's been a ten day contest but since I just got my blog back–it was hacked a year ago and I was lazy about fixing it. Anyway. Contest!
The scoop–I got a Facebook page designed for my new book Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have). And then I thought t it would be fun if people could post their own "things I did (and probably shouldn't have)". Stuff like: Read your sister's diary. Cut your own bangs. Got green braces. Kissed Robert Stein. Left your cell phone on the bus.
So I asked my web designers to create an app that did that. Basically it gives you a meme form and then posts the list on your wall with the heading 10 Things Sarah did (and Probably Shouldn't Have). Except it uses your name. And counts the number of things you did. It's very awesome. We called it the Ten Things Game. But no one was playing it. So we decided to launch a contest. And I've been giving away one signed book to my the person who wrote my favorite "thing" every day. And now there are lots and lots of people playing it. And they've done some hilarious–and some naughty!–things.
And there are two more days to play! Today and tomorrow! Go here and post the things you did (and probably shouldn't have). You can post one to ten things each time, and play as often as want. And you can definately still play after Saturday (please do!) but you won't be eligible to win the signed books. (But you will still be awesome.)
Do it! You know you want to.

The Montreal Event!
Hello!
I am off to Montreal tomorrow!
While there I will:
1. Eat party sandwiches (huh, you ask? Us Montrealers say party sandwiches. You probably say tea sandwiches. Or finger sandwiches. Or tuna and egg sandwiches on white bread sliced into tiny little pieces. In Montreal we do not wait for bridal showers to eat these…we have them all the time! For lunch! For breakfast! For dinner! For snack! Fine, I'm exaggerating. Kind of.
2. Sleep in. While my in-laws watch my daughter. Yay!
3. Sign copies o...
