I just know that I don't have to publish something unless I want to publish something; so, I can write something and know that there is no pressure. (less)

We will be spending some time in Berlin, and I will write when I'm there. Best of all, fiction writers never have to tell the truth. When I wrote Cutted Chicken in Shanghai, I was careful to tell the truth, and now, I have been set free by fiction; although I still find myself looking at experiences in my life. (less)

Sharon Winters Thank you so much, Janz, for passing my book forward. I sent your friend an email, which is [email protected] You are welcome to use this email, also.

Best wishes,
Sharon

Peacejanz Sharon - I sent "Cutted on to my friend who was in Peace Corps with me. She phoned me this morning and wanted to know if I was personally in touch with you. She served as PC in Korea for two years and then traveled/worked in China, HongKong, Shanghai for many years. She was on page 30 of the book and wondered where she could get in touch with you. She lives in Florida in the winter and in Colorado in the summer. I think you live somewhere west of the Mississippi River, too.

Anyway, she is Mimi Fowler. She is at [email protected] and her phone is 303/550-1961. It would be lovely if you emailed her; she was in Shanghai at the time you were there and she was telling me about the great hotel where you kept going to meet you lover, ice cream.

Hope all is well. Mimi is a delight and so well traveled. One more person who loves your book. peace, janz
