Deepak Chandar (born 11 May 1979) is an Indian author. Karna – The Mortal God is his first book published as part of the sequel. The only regular education that he ever had was schooling. He has been an entrepreneur as a teenager. An unconventional soul that wants to break free from the mundane, he challenged every religious belief that he was induced into. He used to visit the church at school and spend hours sitting and staring at Jesus in the cross. He was amazed at the sacrifice and the pain that Jesus went through in the mortal frame. When I know I can't do justice to my work, I just put the pen down and take a day or two off. I Sleep well and think of amazing things that happened to me in this beautiful world while going to sleep. I always almost NEVER write under pressure be it my book, short stories, script or poem. I don't know how it is for other writers in the block, but, to me writing gives wings. We mortals can't stop time. Suppose if something awesome happens and even if you want it to stay forever, you can't make it happen. But memories stay with us. Writing keeps the memory afresh. Every time you read i,t you live it and become one with it. That's the best thing about being a writer.(less)
