[close] Welcome to the Red River Book and Social Club! We will focus on reading fiction (suspense, thriller, mystery) in the first club (there are two book clubs in one) and local outings. Our book club is guilt-free, so no worries if you didn't get through the whole book. I know that many of us lead busy lives, but doesn't have to stop us from getting together and having an enjoyable time and discussion. We'll have social gatherings in the community: including dinning, movies and when available: performing arts. Suggestions are always welcome! The first book club mostly focuses on reading fiction. We will usually have voting polls to determine the book selection. Suggestions on books and meeting locations are welcome. The second book group is dedicated to reading a Course in Miracles (the purple book). I'm a student (not a teacher) and these will be casual study group meetings to discuss the material and provide support. * Please message me if interested in joining these meetings. * The aim of the group is to build a community based on kindness and respect (and fun!)
