Chapter 6“Edward!” Ava said excitedly when they reached the table she and Jace were sitting at.  She got up to get a proper hug from the man.“Lisette!” Ava continued in her excitement turning to the other woman and giving her a bear hug as well.  “It’s so good to see you both.  Join us for dinner please.”“How can I say no to you?” Edward said with a grin.“You can’t,” Ava said lowering her voice to a purr and quickly kissing Edward on the mouth.“Jace.” Edward and he shook hands when he got out of the booth.“Edward, Lisette,” he said and then kissed the back of her hand.  She quickly lower her head but kept her eyes trained on him.  He smiled his approval at her submissive pose.  “Very good Lisette.  Please join us.”Both men let the women slide in first till they were in the middle of the curved booth.  They took their positions on the outside as the first line of defense.  No one was after their women but they were overprotective alphas so their women sat on the inside and they sat on the outside of the booth.“I didn’t know you two were dating,” Ava gushed happy for the both of them.  “You two are very cute together.”“No we aren’t –”“This is our first date,” Edward interrupted.  He looked down at Lisette and smiled.  “Lisette doesn’t think she is pretty enough to be asked out on a date by someone like me.”“What?” Ava exclaimedLisette was surprised that Edward had spoken the truth out loud about how she truly felt.  She hadn’t realized that was how she felt but it was obvious to anyone who knew her.  Was she that transparent to Edward?  That was a scary thought.“Why would you think that?” Ava asked gently.“Ava,” Jace warned.  “Leave the poor girl alone.  She obviously doesn’t want to talk about it.”“Well I think she’s far too pretty for Edward,” Ava said seriously.  “In fact I would love to date you myself.”“You would?  But you’re …” Lisette began.”“She’s what?” Jace asked curious.“You’re so beautiful.  I could never measure up to – you.”“I am beautiful,” Ava agreed wholeheartedly.  “But so are you.  We’d be perfect together.  The guys would line up to watch us make love.”“She’s blushing,” Ava announced to the table floored that she could make this woman who had probably seen more than she had at the club flush with embarrassment.  “I didn’t mean to embarrass you honey.”“It’s not that.” Lisette shook her head in disagreement.  “I just … I’m so honored that you would think me – pretty enough to … want … me.”“Somebody really did a job on your self-esteem,” Ava cooed softly and put her arm around Lisette’s waist.  “I’m sorry that bastard was in your life.”“How did you know?” Lisette asked terrified that she was that obvious to them all.“Because I know what you’re feeling and I know my nemesis was several bastards who tried to break me and almost succeeded but my Jace wouldn’t let me go down without a fight.”Ava leaned over to kiss Jace but didn’t let go of Lisette.“Damn right,” Jace whispered to his woman.  “You are definitely worth it.”Ava gave him another kiss before turning her attention back to Lisette.“You are so beautiful,” Ava murmured to Lisette as she nuzzled her neck.  Lisette felt her entire body go sparkly from the other woman’s actions.  She was surprised by her reaction given that she had never considered being with a woman before.  It seemed like she wouldn’t mind all that much.  “So damn sexy,” Ava continued her hand coming to rest on Lisette’s thigh.  As she begun to stroke her, Lisette couldn’t stop herself from opening up her legs to the other woman.  Ava took her actions as an invitation.  Her hand glided up her leg as her thumb rubbed circles along her inner thigh.Lisette felt her body submitting to Ava.  Her pussy began to weep.  Her breasts began to ache.  She started to tremble in anticipation of possible.“Please help yourselves,” Jace proffered.  “We ordered a little bit of everything new on the menu to make sure it’s good.  Tell me what you think.”“Can we get some tikki masala?” Edward asked.  “Lisette was hungering for some Indian food.”“No that’s ok.  This is more than enough.  I can live without the Indian food,” Lisette protested.“Yes you can but why should you if I can satisfy your needs,” Jace dismissed her dissent with a wicked smile.  Ava giggled at his blatant flirting with Lisette who had blushed.  He called the waitress over and ordered some more food for the table.As they ate, they enjoyed each other’s company.  Lisette forgot all about her scar and let Edward push her hair out of the way behind her ear so that he could see her better.  She felt no self-consciousness about her scar.  No one seemed to notice it or care either.  Never had she laughed so much in her life.Lisette hated to call a halt to the evening but she had to get to work.  Ava and Jace needed to work as well.  It was doubtful that they would be at the club later.  Ava gave Lisette a ravenous good-bye kiss while Jace gave her a chaste peck on the cheek.  Edward grabbed her hand and held it as they left the restaurant.  He didn’t let go of her all the way to the club.
