I cannot believe that I am roughly halfway through publishing the entire series of The Missing Shield. 😁

Episode 6, titled ' The Lure of an Ancient Fable' comes out early September - slightly delayed due to holidays and a generally busy time in life, but the fortune of being an indie author is the freedom that comes with independence and the flexibility to work as I am able, when I'm able.

So what's it been like? What is it like?

In hindsight, there are things that I would have done differently, but I cannot dwell. Everyone has their own feelings about these things but I'm pretty sure there's a lot of writer friends out there who will nod in agreement when I state that it's been (and remains) a learning curve, bloody hard work, an emotional rollercoaster, and of course, lots of fun. I am able to pursue something that feels like a 'calling' and for that, I'm thankful - both to my family and especially to the readers.

A story that has no audience remains a little like a dream - contained within a personal universe, a mere possibility, a wild hunt for a soul - but with readers, it enters the world we live in and awakens. Thank you to everyone who has already read some the series and thank you for those who are yet to join in! I really, really appreciate your time and support, so please continue to share.
