Wow, thanks for the update! So much more to keep an eye out for. Best of luck with the snow in January

I can´t wait to read that, didn´t even hope that somebody would write something like that.

As for the snow...come on over to Calgary - we've got lots for you! I've got a great view of the cold and white from my balcony!

I recently got into steampunk, so the combo of that with my favorite mystery writer make me one happy camper.

I'm with Jeremy. I love Molly and, wow, it was hard to watch her struggle through Ghost Story. Looking forward to her pov.

I've been a fan of Jim butcher's Dresden books since the beginning. I've read all 14 books and I'm very pleased with this latest edition Cold Days. Since this book just came out I will try to avoid as many spoilers as possible. Jim Butcher has really grown as a writer with the Dresden books. It is wonderful to see how Harry's life has progressed from the mild Manor wizard and every day Gumshoe investigator to the warden, white knight, and first-class wizard champion that he is become. Like always many of the questions from the previous books have been answered in this edition and many more new questions have been brought to our attention. I'm looking forward to the future installments of the Dresden books. Jim Butcher says that he planned on about a 20 book series for the Dresden books, I hope that because of the complications of life, love, and returning from death that Jim Butcher is able to to extend Harry Dresden's life well past the 20 book series he had planned in the beginning. I've come to love many of the characters along with Harry Dresden and I hope to see in the future Mr. Butcher being able to have spinoffs books of the other main characters like Thomas, Murphy and Molly. I love getting lost in the world of Harry Dresden from the on the edge of your seat action scenes to the emotional heartfelt confessions of Harry's feelings, Jim Butcher is able to bring his characters to life. I can't resist one spoiler: Saint Nick as a battle thirsty hunter, really Jim that was twisted genius way to go.
Cold Days was a satisfying and well-told story and I am excited to see how the consequences of the climactic events will unfold and reverberate in future entries of the Dresden Files.
Sincerely, an admirer of your literature
Leslie

And... steampunk + Jim Butcher + humor = happy nerd squeal! (and some drool.) Perhaps to get in the mood you could put on some tunes by Abney Park. Airship pirates and clockwork men...

Away from tv, I believe the Dresden Files would be an awesome multi-movie franchise, a perfect line to blend the Harry Potter Gen with the Indian Jones Gen.
As a huge Black Company fan myself, I can't wait to read your BC inspired work. Keep up the great work, and thank you for all the entertainment.
