Thank you for clarifying your stance on this issue. These are difficult times and it saddens me that such vitriol ensues surrounding these conversations. I know you don't need my affirmation but I don't believe you to be pandering and Melissa Love you are entitled to your position that Joe Rogan is your choice of information but given his prolific use of the n-word that has been well documented, he isn't my choice, nor is he a respectful example of civil exchange .
While there is always room for discourse and I definitely don't accept medical advice unless it is based on sound "scientific research" and medicine is not an infallible or exact field, however there is a body of "indisputable" truth that peoples lives have been saved from Covid through vaccination.
There will always be people who fall outside "the norm" in their response to either the vaccine or this horrible disease however the intense resistance to the fact that in the majority of cases these vaccines save lives is unfathomable to me.
Stay strong Brene....Love you!

This is one more situation where we all can learn and grow together.

I use many sources to gain information, and have only heard a handful of Joe Rogan's podcasts. I commend him for bringing guests from multiple viewpoints to discuss the virus, vaccines, therapeutics, etc. Something we see very little of today. Scientists and experts with a differing viewpoint are censored and silenced. That is not ok. The best way to truly grasp something is to hear from a variety of sources, digest the information and make the best decision you can. Unfortunately the "science" on vaccines cannot be fully validated as it is still too new, long term data is not available, putting all eggs in that basket is reckless.
The use of n-word is not something I support from any person, including the president who, like Rogan, clips can be found from the past of him uttering that terrible word. The apology appears sincere, and years before clips of its use doesn't change the issues surrounding us today with Covid or the vaccine. Because if it did, I suppose any and everything that comes from the Oval Office must also be diregarded on the same grounds.

May we all learn to listen to different perspectives, continue to learn, question everything and not get so offended by others is my hope.

I think Brene on Joe's podcast would be an amazing episode I would actually listen to that. I think they can both learn from each other and I dont see any harm in that right

Based on your first comment, that the basic process of science developing as more information and knowledge is gained is "misinformation" and "fitting the narrative" is a perfect example of why space being given to peddlers of ignorance is dangerous.
Your points are all from misinformation campaigns. People have poisoned themselves and died because of anti vaxxers being given space to spread their lies. They actively destroy people's health and lies.
Rogen giving free platforms for racist, transphobic, misogynist and anti science speakers, with no critical challenge is the cause of misery and prejudice being spread.

Being offended by misogyny and prejudice is not a negative. The pandering to bigotry as just being "an opinion" is how abuse continues.
It's always easiest for those who don't have to deal with those abuses to claim the hurt caused by them isn't a big deal.
