Something else I have found for calming you ready for meditation. Bring your hands together just above the navel when sitting and place the back of the left hand in the right palm. All fingers closed then close your eyes and use your method of breathing. It calms you right down and gets you ready for meditating really fast.

Barbara, thank you. Yes, I agree that the hand mudra near the Sea of Chi does make a difference.
The hand position to use for Cosmic Ordering meditation is called the Cosmic Mudra: place your right hand on your lap, palm facing up and parallel with the floor, and then gently place the knuckles of the left hand in the palm of the right hand and have the thumb tips gently touching. The palm of the right hand gently cups the back of the left hand. This is an excellent mudra for inducing a meditative state of mind.
Make it happen,

Thanks Barbara, there are many hand positions, but for simplicity I prefer to stay with the simple Cosmic hand mudra, although I do refer to a number of of different hand positions in my CD Cosmic Ordering Meditiation.
For instance:
1/ One way to help manage pressure or mild headaches from activating the pineal gland is to put one hand on your heart chakra, this is the heart area of your chest, and the other on your forehead. Then take the hand from your forehead and put it on the back of your head. Do this for a few minutes if need be.
2/ When you have completed the meditation, rub the palms of your hands together to make them warm and place them over your eyes. This will relax and comfort your eye muscles.
In my advanced Merkaba Meditation I advise:
At moment of inhalation, place your hands in the mudra, that’s the position of your thumb and first finger touching. Remember, lightly touch your fingers, and do not allow your fingers to touch each other or any other object. Keep your palms facing up.
Then:
Second breath mudra: Thumb and second finger together
Third breath mudra: Thumb and third finger together
Fourth breath mudra: Thumb and little finger together
Fifth breath mudra: Thumb and first finger together (same as first breath)
Sixth breath mudra: Thumb and second finger together (same as second breath)
There are various mudras for different meditations, far too many to list here, so have fun exploring!
Best wishes ever,
Stephen Richards
