As you probably know, Voices of the Future: Stories of Courage & Compassion released last week, and I am still in celebration mode!

Getting to be a part of this awesome anthology with the Author Conservatory has been amazing, and I’m thrilled to say that we have sold 500+ books thus far … and are continuing to accumulate more sales.

Which is amazing, considering this is basically the writer equivalent of a school fundraiser, only all the money is going to us, the students, so we are able to pursue our dreams.

Speaking of VOICES of the future … did you know that my short story in the collection involves finding your voice?

Yeah, I know! Isn’t that funny?! And what’s great about it is, I didn’t know the title when I wrote the short story. So it was a happy surprise!

The main character of my short story in the collection, If Ye’d Only Say, is Bob Owen, a Scottish son of a shop owner who is struggling to stand up to his father … and tell his lass, Ena, how much he adores her.
