Taking a vacation in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maine during the last two weeks of my revision time? NOT the brightest move on my part, even though it was a working vacation (aren't they all if you're an author?)...

But, the good news is that my editor loved the first book in the upcoming series even before the little tweaks he suggested, and after I was done obsessing over it, well, I just hope he loves it more!

It is vastly different from 13 to Life.

13 to Life was a story built in what I call a "thin world." It was based in a contemporary setting anyone could step into in a small town. If there were werewolves... But I digress.

The new series is far deeper. Imagine Philadelphia in the 1840s. Now add creatures they never historically dealt with, a frightening truth about humanity and a brand new revolution ready to brew beside both tea and coffee.

I hope you enjoy it when it releases next year.
