Radio Comix needs your help!

Back in 1997/98 I was first discovering furry comics. Some of the first ones I read were published by Radio: Furrlough, Havoc Inc, Tales of the Fehnnik, etc. Back then, before Diamond further smothered the indy comics industry, you could find furry comics by Radio in your local comic store. Radio probably did more to spread furry comics in those days than any other publisher. They practically created the market for printed furry comics and paved the way for furs like me who would follow in their footsteps a decade later.

Now they could really use some help. As noted on the link above, their former accountant screwed them over and they owe a lot of money to the IRS. The actual total owed, as documented in the update, is $40,000! They have already met the modest goal of $4,000 they set, but I figure the fandom can dig a little deeper and maybe help them out a bit more. The campaign runs for another 29 days so there's plenty of time to contribute and earn one of the perks they have listed.

So if you can spare a few bucks to help out one of the early pioneers of furry publishing please go to http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-save-radio-comix and help Radio Comix out.

Thanks for listening!
