Yup, wilderness camping (we take a canoe, our packs, and disappear) has worked its magic on me again. If you'd like to see, visit

It's quite odd, really. Before camping, it seemed normal to be indoors much of the day.
Now? Not so much. In fact, we're outside from dawn to dusk. Dusted off the laptop to write outside. Reading outside. Eating outside. It's wonderful.
As for writing? I'm back to my normal state, in which at least three stories happily putter away in the hindbrain at once and all seems easy -- or at least doable.
It's as if I reformatted of my personal harddrive, and all is quick access again.
Needless to say, having felt such a profound impact from this trip, I'm convinced we should do another and soon.
After all. It's good for the books.
