Because it's mid-August, the CNE is about to open, and thoughts in this hemisphere do turn to autumn (whether we want them to or not!)

Once fall is over, I shall enter writerly hibernation, otherwise known as fixating on the deadline that is spring. Whee!!! (For the curious, it will be winter in Marrowdell as I write.)
