I could be wrong but I don’t think there are many novelists who write stories and immerse themselves into technical things at the same time. It’s like a mathematician who is also a painter— those lines of work don’t co-exist. But here I am writing Goon, running The Cartel Publications, shooting movies and editing them when they’re done. The weirdest part is I’m not sure which one I love more. I don’t want to think about it either.
