Won the Big One!!

To quote the gentleman who kindly tweeted from VCon as the Aurora Awards went down this past Saturday night.

Wow!

This is for A Turn of Light. Now officially the winner of the 2014 Aurora for Best Novel of the Year (English).

There's been dancing.

There shall be MORE dancing!

I've posted my acceptance speech and a photo of the trophy heading my way on the public Marrowdell page on facebook.

Now, back to writing...until November. Much happens in ...NOVEMBER!

Dwight Arthur Congratulations. Honestly, I knew the Nebula and Hugo awards but had missed the Aurora until now. Looking it up I learned that one Julie E Czerneda is a four-time winner of various Aurora's. Which left me with a burning need to read a short story about "Left Foot on a Blind Man". I failed to find any source for the Nanopress book other than a pirate download site. But I found a thriving market in like-new copies of the "Silicon Dreams" book. So I have added it to my Chanukah wishlist and I'm waiting to see what develops.

It's a great anthology, Dwight. Well worth the read, not only ::blush:: for my story.
Thanks for the congratulations.
