Can 100% see the Elisabeth influences! (My favorite musical as well, especially the Takarazuka version) LOVE the mood in A Dowry of Blood!
You have leveraged Carter's beautiful and horrific prose with such elegance in DoB. You've moved me deeply, Ms. Gibson, and I wanted to thank you personally. I am not the same after Constanta's story. I am also Romanian - I am very grateful for the beautiful representation of a country ravaged by hungry, selfless men and bolstered by brave, unforgiving women.
