was thinking of books where bands took their name from

any ideas for classic reads
treasure island

that month will be books either fiction or non fiction around world war I ( the great war)

as its the start of 2014 with so many things going on thought would do classic reads like nesbitt etc

well as December means end of the old year and one door closing and with maybe 2013 being the last year of the union as we know it and the last country to leave the union was Eire so theme is irish authors (both north and south of the border)

will put the poll up later today

well he is Danish

thought as the nights are closing in that the theme would be Scandinavian crime thrillers, also try and go for the lesser known ones

to promote high street bookshops in uk

did anyone manage on Saturday to get involved with it and get a nice free bag

well its Halloween again so thought the theme could be fantasy so any wizards, witches or even supernatural/magic

for september was thinking of doing the booker prize listed books for 2013 if everyone is okay with this then will put the poll up later today.

the theme for august is African/ Afro-American writers in honour of martin luther king Jnr I have a dream speech

will the group put their thinking caps for northern American authors

put the book we will read for this month up on the home page

as its holiday season again so thought northern American writers ie Mexican, Canadian or American so get your thinking caps on

final nominations tomorrow then will put poll up for June's read
