I am glad though most of the group have found harold fry a good read to me thats the best book read in 2012 as to me its a simple book in its context but can be seen on multi layers though

there is an interview in mail on sunday with rachel joyce very interesting and apaprently its fav to win booker

any latin american authors will be fine make it interesting i think

as its for october got until around 10th sept so plenty of time

well all get your thinking caps and come up with some different authors and maybe new experiences for some of the group :)

on the lastest mons kallentoft book summertime death

hope everyone got their thinking caps on for this one :)

was thinking more of authors who come from latin america like your coehlo etc and not north america ( ie usa or canada)

i am reading and enjoying so far

I know am getting slighty ahead here with october but the group can have some time to think about this months theme which is latin american writers ( this can include central and south american) so all put your thinking caps on lol...

or even michael palin's new book the truth

was thinking of the marigold hotel the book of the film but welcome any other suggestions so then can gradually compile the poll :)

seems chris you can read the first ever harry hole book the bat as its being published later on in the summer as saw it on waterstones website so it seems all the remaining books being translated into english now

mine is travels with charley by john steinbeck every since read it at school and the other is lord of the rings

poll is up if any of the group hasnt voted yet

P.S. It..."best no page limits as to me its the book/storyline no how many pages and its how you discover new books

not really jackie just how we had awful weather make me think of indian summers and though why not have india as september read , you should know by now I come up with different themes I know sometimes somewhat weird lol but also i feel make it different that I try and come up with different themes but so many books come out of it and also not stuck to any genre of books as a theme can be many in one go
