or maybe Walking Home: A Poet's Journey by Simon Armitage as read a review in todays newspaper and also got it on reserved at library as well

was thinking yesterday of the bad weather we have had in Uk so far and had no summer as such and usually in september we get good weather an indian summer so though the topic for this month is all things indian , books based in India

well its holiday time again so travelogues or travel writing to make feel of places yet to explore or discover so its travels and holidays are the theme of august

yes most of the problems gone now from the system but the older books cause a few problems though

when you have finished either taking out or returning items you get a receipt

well to book books out you dont use a scanner its put on a pad which then knows what the book is etc the only thing you scan is your library card to take books out

collected mine this morning as thought was still in transit as was returning book and librarian said got a book here for you to collect :) the normal librarian I see thesedays is one with a scanner, pad and a screen ( as my main library is a self service one open 6am-10pm)

yes mine is in transit from one branch to another

started The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry as loads are wanting it at the library and looking forward to reading it as seems positive reviews so far

i got both at library waiting for me lol

on to the lastest matthew pearl book its slow starting at the moment though
