Joey nodded. "Right. Um," he hesitated, "Jade, do you need someone to help you walk...?"

Electro smiled. "That's okay. I don't think I've ever heroed like this, either." He hoped that he could find the others before they were finally found by guards. Trying to protect Mariola all by himself seemed a rather difficult task.

Electro smiled. "Just start walking whenever you feel ready."

"Okay." Electro hadn't missed his usual sparks sinking into her skin, so he set her down on her feet as quickly as he could without dropping her. "You can hold onto my arm, but you shouldn't probably touch my hand too long," he said quietly.

Well, I guess I'll have to pay you all zero dollars then. Woe betide me.

"It looks like she's unconscious," Joey said softly. All of a sudden, fear came rushing in. Oh god... we're in an experimental facility... there are people with guns... we don't even know if Jade is - Joey clamped down on his thoughts. He had to stay strong for Noel and Saffy. Especially Saffy.

((Derp derp... cliche "stay strong" has now been activated. Wooooo...))

Electro felt his cheeks flame as Mariola kissed him. "Um... sure," he managed. He lifted her up gently, bridal-style. "Can you walk?"

Oh, sorry Frankie. I guess I just thought that Noel's dancing was like her secret power ^^*

Joey followed Noel slowly, holding onto Saffy, awkwardly, he thought. "Jade," he called as they walked along.

"Don't worry, Mari. I'm not going anywhere. I'm not going to leave you. We'll get back to school and everything will be okay..." Electro kept up a stream of talking, not even paying attention to what he was saying. He fumbled at the velcro straps holding Mariola down until they came loose.
