The Mortal Instruments
Shadowhunters, also known as Nephilim or Children of Nephilim, are a secretive race of beings who are humans born with angelic blood. To be frank, they are half-human and half-angel. They are the appointed warriors on Earth of the Angel Raziel. They are appointed specifically to control and preside over the Shadow World, as well as over the demons and Downworlders who inhabit it. Should any monster start a breakdown in the pizza place on 23rd avenue, they will be punished.
