What Members Thought
I seriously hated this book as much as I loved it. Since the story is about the Queen of Hearts I knew from the beginning it would have a tragic ending, so I could have chosen not to read. But reading about an imagined background Meyer created for the Queen was so magical and enchanting. But I totally ugly cried at the end. Because my heart was broken. So good! Yet so dang frustrating!
It took me a little time to get into this. Loved meeting the characters we are all so familiar with. I'd say about half way through, the story finally grabbed me and I sped through the rest. I feel like Meyer really gave thorough backgrounds and motivations to all the characters.

I absolutely adored this book! This is the first re-telling I have read and I am now hooked. I cannot say enough good things about it. The story telling was amazing. Drew me in and hooked me from the first couple of chapters. Love, love, loved it!
