What we've read so far in 2013...
*Please only add books that you HAVE read in 2013*
For the books you've read in 2012, visit the 2012 list!
Just keep voting for books as you read them. Which book will we read the most this year? And for all you lucky people who read more than 100 books in a year, this should become your 100 favourite reads in 2013 list. Delete your least faves as you go past 100.
FYI- This is the 4th year for this list. Last year's list generated almost 5,000 books with 690 voters. The Hunger Games was (once again) the most read at 241 votes followed (also again) by Catching Fire & Mockingjay. Divergent and City of Bones made our top 5. Cheers

I figured I might as well add it as the #1 book as thats where it always ends up.
Hey do you have librian status? I can't figure out how to "link" the top 5 from last year titles or back to the 2012 list from the blurb.

Sorry, I don't have librarian status. That's too 'complicated' for me, LOL.

Someone just added 50+ books to the list. All of them read in 2012, of course.
I'm not sure if I should remove them.

I wanted to thank you for linking the books in the blurb and removing the ones I added for real ones that have been read this year. Could you also link back "last years list" in the blurb to the 2012 link.

And Happy New Year to all, ladies (and gentlemen?) 2013 has already arrived here and I can't wait to start populating my list.

Happy New Year to you Dina, I still have several hours yet to go yet here, I just put the champagne outside to chill

I'm a high school teacher, and over the years I have had to accept that people just won't follow the simplest of rules. *sigh*

I don't think they're all rebels, though. I'm a strong believer in human stupidity; it never fails...

And thanks Rhea for removing all the 2012 read books...
I've set myself a target of 52 books for this year but I thoroughly hope I find some more time to get more than that read.
Happy New Book Reading Year :)

I find it is the first thing I think of to do - finished book, go online, post the book on my list(s!), and pick the new book to read. Once you get into the habit of this, it becomes second nature.
BTW - Thanks for putting the list up again Buggy! I got my 'What Women Born in the 70s have read so far this year' list up too. I'm hoping your earlier 'dilemma' steers clear of my list though...

@ Jennifer I would add books to the list when you mark them as read of course I don't always remeber to do this and usually add a bunch alltogether whenever I get around to it... That probably wasn't very helpful was it? LOL

I have created a new group called Goodreads All Sorts and I'd love for people to join it or just even just give it a look. It's a group that discusses anything and everything. There will be monthly group reads, movies, and music. There is a folder for everything you could think of. I'd really like if people could spread the word because I'd love for the group to be a success. Here is the link to the group:

Thanks very much,
Jack :-)

Oh well. Nothing I've read is in the top 100, as usually. :P Though I might read Beautiful Creatures before the year is up.

It could definitely use some more voters so feel free to pass the link on to friends, thanks!

Which of course makes me not want to go near the book.

Hi Buggy,
Let me start by saying I love this list. I really like to see how popular reads change over the course of the year. With that being said, would you mind if I listed a top 5 every month here in the comments on your 2014 list. My memory is terrible and I'd really like to keep track of how the reads evolve over the year.

I Have no problems with you listing a top 5 in the comments every month. I also find it interesting how popular reads change. For about 3 years this list was all about The Hunger Games so it was really nice to see a change this year

I've read one but in 2012. LOL
