I've always been fascinated by movie stars so the inspiration came from reading tell-alls from women like Ava Gardner. As you can imagine, researching this book was about the most fun I could possibly have.
Between the Hollywood biographies, the podcasts, the articles, and the movies, I kept myself busy and had quite a good time.
The book that I cannot recommend highly enough, for anyone interested in Hollywood scandal (who isn't???) is Scandals of Classic Hollywood by Anne Helen Petersen.
