The types of dueling styles you described (Avertiere, etc), are those actual historical styles or just literary devices? I was on our High School fencing team long long ago so it piqued my interest and I couldn't find anything about them on the net

Sebastien de Castell All the duelling styles were invented for the book to reflect the mindset that would suit those engaged in trials by combat within that society. To my knowledge there's no comparable list of duelling styles in our own world, which tended to focus on specific fencing styles as taught by particular masters (Capo Ferro, Fabris...etc.)

Hello! Every time I read a book of the Spellslinger-series, I fall even more in love with this world. Are there going to be maps of all the countries for these books? I loved tracing my fingers along while reading the Greatcoats-series, and I would love to do the same with Kellen's adventures. I'm also terrible at remembering where every place is and a map would be simply awesome.

On a related note, I was having trouble finding descriptions of what Kest and Falcio look like. I have a specific way I picture them, but I was wondering how you picture them, or where in the book you describe them.

I recently read Traitor's Blade and Knight's Shadow. I am starting Saint's Blood today. I would love to hear these books in audio. Is that a future possibility? If it happens and you have a say in the narrator, please consider Alex Wyndham. He was new to me when I heard him narrate a book, and I loved his narration. He is excellent with voices and portraying the individuality of the characters and their emotions.
