Goodreads asked Harmony Williams:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Harmony Williams If you write, YOU ARE a writer. However, if you aspire to be published, my main advice to you is that it will take hard work and a lot of persistence. You have to read new books in your genre to keep up to date with what others are writing and where your book fits in. You have to write and revise, write and revise, so many times at some point you will inevitably hate your book. There are incredible highs that come along with writing—a book is accepted, a shining review, the feeling of holding your book in your hands, meeting a fan at a book signing. However, there are lows to this career as well, many times when you wonder if you don't have what it takes. It can come before you're published, after you've published your first book or your twentieth. The drive and determination of writing a book has a roller-coaster of highs and lows. Don't give up. Write the best book you can, and then write another. Do this because you love writing, put in the hard work, and eventually you will find yourself where you want to be.
