How much of your experience with horses enters into your novels?

S.M. Spencer Thanks for your question, Cindy. I bought my first horse when I was sixteen, and have had horses in my life ever since. The women portrayed in my stories have varying degrees of involvement with horses, but I hope that my experience enables their interactions and relationships with horses to come across as genuine. The stories aren't about the horses, they are about the women--women who are sensitive and caring, and who are lucky enough to have both wonderful men, and beautiful horses, in their lives.
