Thank you, Belle--I'm so glad! The second K9 Unit book, On the Chase (Hugh's story), will be out in September, so just a few months to go (although it always seems so much longer to me--one month equals about one "book year" ;-)). Romantic suspense recs? Hmm...I'm drawing a blank right now, since I've been on a contemporary/paranormal/YA kick when I've been able to sneak in some reading (usually when I should be writing or editing). If you're open to genres outside of RS, I love Helen Harper, Mariana Zapata, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Karen Lynch, and Donna Augustine. Happy Reading!

Why are publishers switching to Trade paperbacks? They are horrible! Large and expensive like hardbacks and flimsy like mass market paperbacks. Basically the disadvantages of the other two formats and none of the advantages. Hardbacks are at least durable and mass market paperbacks fit in your pocket and your budget.
