Ellis Logan Thanks Chris, I really appreciated your review and I am so glad you enjoyed the the read! I've always been fascinated by the powers of the mind and ancient mythologies. I wanted to write something different in this series from my usual fare, something wholly un-fae, and thought it would be fun to combine the two themes. A lot of my ideas come to me in dreams or meditations, or when I am driving. Times when my mind is wide open, receptive. After I get an idea, I note it down in a plot document, and later, when I sit to type everything just sort of pours out! The characters have a lot to say about how things develop, too 😉
